12-Day Best of Vietnam Photo Workshop
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi – Welcome Dinner & Photography Walk
Arrive in Hanoi, where you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your boutique hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a warm-up photography session to get familiar with your surroundings. In the evening, meet your fellow photographers over a welcome dinner before resting up for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Hanoi – Mu Cang Chai
Begin the day with an early morning photography session by Sword Lake before returning for breakfast. After checking out, drive to Mu Cang Chai with a stop for lunch en route. In the afternoon, capture the valley at sunset before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay..
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai
Begin the day early with a sunrise photography session, followed by time to capture scenes of local life. In the afternoon, continue exploring the valleys on a motorbike trip, with plenty of opportunities for photography along the way.
Day 4: Mu Cang Chai – Tea fields
Begin the morning with an early photography session in the valley, capturing the soft light and peaceful atmosphere. In the afternoon, shift to a new theme as we explore the rolling tea plantations, offering fresh perspectives and contrasting landscapes to photograph.
Day 5: Tea Fields & Scenic Valley
Begin the day with an early start in the misty tea fields, capturing the serene atmosphere and people at work among the rows of green. In the afternoon, continue with a scenic drive to a valley that offers the perfect backdrop during harvest season, with sweeping views to enjoy and photograph.
Day 6: Photo Review & Village Walk
After several early starts, enjoy a slower morning with our first photo review session, a chance to reflect and learn together. In the afternoon, set out on foot to explore a Hmong village, offering authentic encounters and fresh photographic inspiration.
Day 7: Minority Market & Final Rice Fields
The day begins with a visit to a vibrant minority market, where different ethnic groups gather in their traditional dress to trade and socialize. In the afternoon, we return to the rice fields one last time, offering a fitting conclusion to the journey in the North of Vietnam.
Day 8: Return to Hanoi
Being close to the Chinese border, today is dedicated to the full-day journey back to Hanoi, allowing time to reflect on the experiences and memories gathered along the way.
Day 9: Incense Village & Flight to Da Nang
Begin the day with an early morning visit to a traditional incense village near Hanoi, capturing its vibrant colors and unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, take a flight to Da Nang, where a new chapter of the journey unfolds with the charm of a fishermen’s village awaiting.
Day 10: Hoi An River, Market & Countryside
Start the day with sunrise by the Hoi An river and a visit to the bustling local market, filled with color and energy. In the afternoon, continue exploring the peaceful countryside, where daily life offers endless moments to capture.
Day 11: Fishing Market & Farewell by the Beach
At sunrise, visit the lively fishing market on the beach, where the morning’s catch arrives in a vibrant display of energy and color. In the afternoon, gather for a final review session to reflect on the journey and celebrate your progress. The day concludes with a farewell dinner by the beach.
Day 12: Departure from Hoi An
If time allows, enjoy an optional morning walking tour through Hoi An’s charming streets before departing for your onward journey.
