An Englishman, a Frenchman, and an Italian in Cambodia…
…It might sound like the beginning of a joke, but is in fact the foundation story behind Asia Travel Photography, a partnership between three professional photographers all living in Siem Reap, Cambodia for years.
Alessandro Vannucci, Régis Binard and Chris Cusick, united by a passion for photography and teaching, since 2012 have been offering guided photography workshops throughout Cambodia and beyond. Chris for family reason had to move to Canada where he is busy with different activities there.
United by a passion for photography and teaching, since 2012 we have been offering guided photography workshops throughout Cambodia and beyond. Since the very beginning, we’ve operated under the mantra of “By Photographers. For Photographers” and so all of our tours are built from the ground up with passionate photographers in mind. We aim to capture the best light and skip the crowds, and with every member of our team having lived in Cambodia for multiple years, and with countless hours of experience in out host countries, our extensive local knowledge and long-standing relationships enable us to provide an unrivalled experience to all of our guests.
After many years of experience in Cambodia, and after having explored various countries in Asia, since 2014 we have also been organizing photographic tours to Rajasthan and Ladakh in India, Vietnam, Laos, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Skilled in a variety of styles from portrait to landscape, and from street to night photography, we’ve now shared our unique approach, technical knowledge and passion for photography with over 3,000 happy guests; we hope you’ll join us for an unforgettable adventure of your own – we can’t wait to share our insider knowledge to help you capture incredible images of Asia!

REGIS BINARD
Photographer & Tour Leader - English / French
Régis has been a professional freelance photographer for over 20 years, specializing in photojournalism and humanitarian photography. He initially worked with a French non-profit organization, traveling extensively throughout Central and Southeast Asia in both photography and project management roles.
Since relocating to Cambodia in 2011, Régis has collaborated with various international and local NGOs, corporations, and editorial outlets. Known for his documentary style and ability to capture authentic moments, Regis values meaningful interactions with his subjects. He currently resides in Siem Reap with his wife and two daughters.
ALESSANDRO VANNUCCI
Photographer & Tour Leader - English / Italian
Renowned as “Ale,” Alessandro is an acclaimed freelance photographer with a focus on reportage photography. With extensive experience as a photography workshop leader, he has conducted photographic expeditions globally, delving into diverse subjects and techniques including time-lapse and iPhoneography alongside traditional stills photography.
Residing in Cambodia since 2008, his deep-rooted passion lies in capturing the essence of local culture and the awe-inspiring Angkor Archaeological complex. Leveraging his unparalleled local insight, Ale uncovers unique photographic prospects that remain unseen to others. Ale lives in Siem Reap with his wife and two sons.
