Hello there, fellow travelers! Let me tell you about the August 2023 Cambodia Photography Workshop with an itinerary bis. I mean, who doesn’t love a good photography workshop, right? And when it’s in Cambodia, you know it’s gonna be amazing!

Last August, we had some return customers. Annabelle, for the 5th time with us (after a short trip in Siem Reap, then Cambodia once with Chris, Laos, and Uzbekistan with me) and Maika, for her second tour with us in Cambodia. It was almost like a private experience for them as they were the only two in the group. Yeah, the group was smaller this year than a normal year, but it was equally fun!

Since both Annabelle and Maika had already visited Cambodia before, I had the flexibility to create an adapted itinerary for them and show them new things that we don’t offer the first time around. We explored further temples and new rural villages of Cambodia where we met the nicest people. And let me tell you, the people of Cambodia are just amazing! They’re so friendly and welcoming, it’s hard not to fall in love with them.

Now, let me tell you about the absolute highlight of the workshop.

First up, we had the privilege of getting exclusive access to the backstage of Phare the Cambodian Circus. Oh, the wonders we witnessed! It was like stepping into a world of magic and acrobatics. And let’s not forget the pictures, we took photos, being barefoot in the mud, of those farmers, knee-deep in mud, replanting rice in the middle of my favorite village. It was like a scene straight out of a National Geographic magazine (just one more in that trip). And hold onto your hats, folks, because we were blessed with not one, not two, but six rainbows during this trip. That’s right, a rainbow every two days! It was like Mother Nature was putting on a spectacular light show just for us all the time. I tell you, this workshop was a photographer’s dream come true.

Overall, the August 2023 Cambodia Photography Workshop with an itinerary bis was a blast! We had a smaller group, but it was equally fun even better. We explored new places, met amazing people, and had some hilarious moments that we’ll never forget. If you’re a photography enthusiast and love to travel, I highly recommend joining one of our workshops.

So pack your camera, put on your adventure hat, and get ready for an unforgettable experience in Cambodia, especially when we already know the 2024 August tour is confirmed with the minimum of participants! And hey, who knows, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to witness a rainbow every two days too!

Happy traveling, my friends!
