Welcome to our very first blog post from Asia Travel Photography, showcasing the incredible moments we captured during our photography workshop tours in Cambodia, Vietnam, Ladakh, Uzbekistan, and Laos. After a long wait, the world finally reopened, and we embarked on unforgettable journeys, capturing the essence of these beautiful destinations. Today, we’re excited to share with you some of our favorite images from 2022-2023, post-COVID.

1. Vibrant Water Festival in a Remote Village in Cambodia:

During our workshop, we were fortunate to witness the vibrant Cambodian Water Festival.  The energy and excitement are simply contagious. From the colorful boat races to the joyful celebrations, these images will transport you to another world.

2. Conical Hats of Vietnam:

The timeless symbol of Vietnamese culture, tradition and identity. Its elegant silhouette against the backdrop of lush landscapes and bustling markets captures the essence of the region’s rich heritage and enduring charm.

3. Divine Encounters in Ladakh:

Ladakh is a land of wonders and spirituality where Buddhist monks live a disciplined and spiritual life. We are always very welcome in their monastery: the vibrant robes, peaceful expressions, and ancient monasteries create a visually stunning experience, capturing the essence of their deep-rooted traditions and devotion.

4. Uzbek Hospitality in Bukhara, Uzbekistan:

Uzbek hospitality is truly remarkable and something you have to experience to fully comprehend. The warm and welcoming nature of the Uzbek people is unlike anything you’ve ever encountered. From the moment you step foot in their country, you are treated like family.

5. Breathtaking Lantern Festival of Luang Prabang, Laos:

These pictures captured the sheer beauty and magic of this incredible event. From the vibrant lanterns illuminating the night sky to the breathtaking displays of light and color, every photo will leave you in awe.

Our photography workshop tours in Cambodia, Vietnam, Ladakh, Uzbekistan, and Laos were an incredible journey of visual discovery. These 25 images represent just a fraction of the beauty we encountered during our travels. As the world reopened post-COVID, we were reminded of the power of photography to capture fleeting moments and preserve them forever.
